Yesenia Padilla was born in Tucson, AZ, and raised in the border town of Nogales, AZ.  After graduating from high school, Yesenia attended Pima Community College where she obtained her licensed practical nurse certificate and completed the NCLEX-PN.  Yesenia joined United Community Health Center in 2002 as an LPN at Continental Family Medical Center. She was later promoted to an LPN Lead for multiple UCHC clinics taking on projects to include the startup of several clinics. 

Yesenia left UCHC to become office manager for two southern Arizona rural health clinics.  Upon returning to UCHC in 2022, Yesenia has taken on the role of Clinical Operations Director where she enjoys helping the southern Arizona community. Throughout the years, Yesenia has been involved in different community outreach programs and events. Yesenia enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time.
