Pediatrics Provider: Lynn Murphy, BS, MSN, PNP-C
Lt Col Lynn Murphy (ret), BS, MSN, PNP-C is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner working at UCHC since 2010. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1987. Upon graduation, Lynn joined the US Air Force where she spent 10 years in pediatric and OB/GYN nursing. She was stationed in California, Florida, and the United Kingdom. She then returned to her Alma Mater and obtained her Master’s Degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as a Primary Care Provider in North Carolina, Nebraska, and, finally, here in Arizona. During her career, Lynn participated in humanitarian missions to Ghana, Guatemala, and Peru providing care to thousands of impoverished children. She has also been named one of Tucson’s “Fabulous Fifty” nurses. Lynn retired from the Air Force in March of 2009.

Upon retirement from the Air force, Lynn and her family decided to make Sahuarita their final destination. Despite being far from her Massachusetts home, she enjoys the warm and sunny weather in Southern Arizona. Lynn has been married to her husband, Tom, for over 30 years and they have two beautiful grown daughters: Kiara graduated from Arizona State University in 2017 and Kaelyn graduated from the University of Arizona in 2018.

Lynn Murphy currently provides care for patients at United Community Health Center’s La Canada Pediatrics location.
