Dr. King joined UCHC as a board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2026. Dr. King was born in San Francisco, California. She returned to Arizona after spending thirty-four years in North Carolina. She obtainedher undergraduate nursing degree at Fayeteville State University in Fayeteville North Carolina and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2019. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, and reading books on finance.
