Claudette Pippin, originally from Dearborn Hts. Michigan, joined the United States Air Force and worked as a Medical Administrative Specialist for several years.  Upon leaving the service, she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Chaminade University of Honolulu.  She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, who started off her career in public accounting, doing tax and audit work.  She then spend several years as a corporate director of business and finance, before becoming a Chief Financial Officer of several not for profit organizations, including a large behavioral health organization in Oklahoma, as Vice President of Finance for the Oklahoma State University Foundation, and then moving to Tucson, to work for Habitat for Humanity Tucson before joining United Community Health Center.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); has held board of director positons at several not for profit organizations in Oklahoma and Arizona, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, sewing, cooking and hiking here in beautiful Arizona!
