About Us

United Community Health Center (UCHC) a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is a medical home that provides primary and preventive health care to the population of southern Arizona and is open to all regardless of their ability to pay. Currently, there are eleven community health centers under the umbrella of UCHC, collectively providing care to more than 14,132 patients and filling the critical gaps in health care serving the working poor, the uninsured, the medically underserved and many high-risk and vulnerable populations.

What is required from you to volunteer for United Community Health Center?

Administrative Receptionist Volunteer

Essential Functions:

1.Greet Visitors
2. Answer Phone
3. Receive Mail/Deliveries
4. Help With Large Mailings
5. Assist with special projects
6. Keep Board Room Stocked
7. Keep Phone Directory Updated
8, Other Miscellaneous Duties

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Graduate.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to speak Spanish desirable, but not required.
Customer service skills.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Participates in volunteer in-service or trainings and meetings as appropriate.
2. All other duties assigned.

Position Summary:

The Administrative Receptionist provides support to the Administrative Office staff by ensuring that all telephone calls are handled professionally and processed accordingly.
